Homework and academic help

Free homework and academic help is available to children in 1st -5th grade. Study coaches will be ready to work with your student from 1:45*-3:45pm, Wednesday afternoons while the Issaquah School District is also in session. Study coaches will be there to listen to you child read or to assist with school assignments. There will also be board games and educational games available to you child once their studies have been completed. All volunteers have undergone background checks by the Washington State Patrol.

Preston Baptist Church is not just a building. It is a community of people seeking to meet the needs of our friends and neighbors in the surrounding area. We are trying to use the talents of our members in creative ways, such as offering this homework club, free of charge, to the families in the Preston area.

Children must pre-register or register at the door, so as to provide emergency and medical information. To register your child, please call Ann Armstrong at 425.222.5680.

*I will meet the kids when they get off the bus at the “church” bus stop.

We wrapped up our 2007-08 school year for mid week mentor and went out with a bang! There was quite the party complete with Ice Cream Sundays, Puzzle Races, and even Turk the Magician. A great time was had by all as you can see below. Mid Week Mentor will start up again this Fall with the new school year. Stay tuned for more info and enjoy your summer!
